Version 5 released:

Renamed to "Navarre Report Scheduler", this version completes the upgrade process started in version 4.6.x. Some of the new features in this version include:

Improved error handling and flow, increasing reliability and performance;
A new web based update utility to help our customers keep their installations up to date;

Version 6 Beta 1 released

After nearly a full year of design and development, the latest version of our Crystal Report scheduling software is ready for its first test. Navarre Report Manager as it will be known will completely change the way you schedule and now view reports. This total rewrite will utilize the dot net framework (3.5) along with Crystal Reports 2008.

I have worked very hard to listen to all my customers’ needs and wants. I truly believe this new application is the best I have ever produced. Many late nights and long weekends I have spend creating this exciting new version.

This Beta 1 release is mainly just to prove the format of the new job layout and the core features which are quite small at this point. The only destination types are email and file transfer. Over the next 6-8 weeks I will be adding most of the features that version 5 has such as the Mass Distribution Module, the Service Module and the new High Encryption Module.

In the months to come I plan on adding on demand viewing, which is already built into the application, with per user access permissions.
